Meda and its partners are hosting the Second Meda Million Dollar Challenge- an exciting business-plan competition modeled on the television show “Shark Tank.” Up to 20 ethnic minority owned businesses will be invited to make their best case to a panel of judges regarding why their businesses are poised for growth.
Ten finalists will be chosen to move on to the next round and participate in Meda’s Boot Camp for Successful Pitches– an accelerator offering investor and industry feedback, marketing consulting and professional connections.
Finalists will return to Saint Paul on October 11 for the final pitch event, which will award at least $1 million in financing. Financing will be in the form of a convertible note.
