Welcome to 2024 GW New Venture Competition!
The NVC provides all GW students, faculty, staff, and alumni with real-world educational experience in developing, testing, and launching their own startups, businesses, and social ventures. In our 14-year history, the NVC has served over 3,000 student entrepreneurs and awarded $2M in prizes.
We offer skill-building and experiential learning opportunities throughout the NVC through workshops, mentoring, and networking opportunities. The NVC comprises three rounds and culminates at the NVC award show in April.
The GW New Venture Competition is administered by the GW Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
By submitting an application into the GW New Venture Competition, you are confirming that your entry meets the eligibility requirements. If you do not meet the requirements, you will not be allowed to compete.
The NVC is run in five tracks: Consumer Goods and Services , Business Goods and Services , Healthcare and Life Sciences , Social Innovation , and Explorer Track .
ROUND 2 submissions are due March 3, 2024, at 11:59 PM EST
The GW New Venture Competition reserves the right to determine the eligibility of all submissions.
